PROGRAM INFORMATION
For many decades, the Pennsylvania Bus Association PBA has proudly sponsored the Driver and Employee of Distinction Award's Program, a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence in the motorcoach industry. We recognize the hard work and dedication of our members and their employees who tirelessly serve the needs of their customers and communities.
This annual program provides a wonderful opportunity for YOU to shine a spotlight on the outstanding contributions of YOUR drivers and/or employees. By nominating those who go above and beyond in their roles, you not only honor their efforts but also inspire others within your organization to strive for excellence.
Eligibility:
- Operator and Tour Operator members can nominate a driver and/or an employee for a Driver or Employee of Distinction Award.
- Travel Supplier and Associate members can nominate an employee for an Employee of Distinction Award.
We warmly invite you to participate in this celebration of talent and dedication, fostering a sense of community and collective recognition among your peers.

- 2026 Marketplace Networking Reception on Monday, March 30, 2026, in Williamsport, PA
- 2026 Annual Conference Luncheon on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the Poconos, PA
Your nominee and/or a company representative are required to be in attendance at your chosen event presentation. Awards will not be mailed.
Time will be allotted at the presentations for your personal comments, by a company representative, on the achievements of the employee.
A $300 nomination fee applies, which covers the cost of the award plaque and gift. Please note that both the nominee and a company representative (or nominator) must attend the event, as awards will not be mailed. The application will be voided if a member representative cannot commit to attend the event.
Submission Deadlines:
- The deadline to submit your nomination to present at the 2026 Marketplace is February 13, 2026.
- The deadline to submit your nomination to present at the 2026 Annual Conference is May 15, 2026.

2024 Award Winners
PBA recognized nine PBA members’ employees as the recipients of the 2024 Drivers and Employees of Distinction. The recipients were honored at the March 24, 2025 Networking Reception, the day prior to the Marketplace in Manheim, PA.

The recipients were honored at the March 25, 2024 Networking Reception the day prior to the Marketplace in State College, PA. PBA recognized four PBA members’ employees as the recipients of the 2020 Drivers and Employees of Distinction. This annual awards are usually presented at the Annual Meeting in June. With this year’s Annual Meeting rescheduled to the fall, the recipients were honored at the October 26th luncheon during the Annual Conference at Wind Creek in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
